Alessandro Passaré Foundation

Established in 2007 at the initiative of Massimo Passaré in memory of his father Alessandro, a physician and passionate collector of modern and indigenous art, the Alessandro Passaré Foundation pursues cultural objectives aimed at preserving and enhancing the inherited collection while promoting research in the fields of contemporary art and non-European artistic cultures. The collection includes an important group of approximately 300 African artworks, now housed at MUDEC – Museum of Cultures in Milan. Several contemporary artworks are also on long-term loan to MA*GA – Museum of Art in Gallarate. The Foundation promotes exhibitions, publications, and research activities.
