Titolo: Barn door

Descrizione: Granary door of the Dogon people of Mali, dating to the 20th century. The object consists of two rectangular panels joined by iron staples. Anthropomorphic figures are carved on the surface of the panels; four of them wear a Kanaga mask, which is also depicted on the other panel beside the lock. The work is part of the Bassani Collection and is housed at MUDEC – Museum of Cultures, Milan (inv. AFR 00014 2513A).
