Descrizione
Granary door of the Dogon people of Mali, dating to the 20th century. The object consists of two rectangular panels joined by iron staples; its surface is divided into six compartments, five of which are decorated with standing anthropomorphic figures, while the sixth contains the lock, surmounted by an additional anthropomorphic figure. The work is part of the Bassani Collection and is housed at MUDEC – Museum of Cultures, Milan (inv. AFR 00013 2513A).
