Statue

Female anthropomorphic figure with a harmonious and balanced structure, characterized by a lively, rounded face and an elegant cylindrical neck articulated with superimposed rings (Ghana, Fante people). The figure wears a pair of shoes; its gracefully bent arms lead the small hands to rest upon the abdomen. Formerly part of the Laura Franco Monti collection, the work is now housed at the MUDEC in Milan (inventory no. 00019).
