Anthropomorphic statue attributable to the cultural sphere of the Baulè population of Ivory Coast, dating to the 20th century. The standing female figure is characterized by its slender posture, elaborate hairstyle, ornamental scarifications, and composed attitude, elements that reflect ideals of beauty and prestige within Baulè tradition. Formerly part of the Franco and Laura Monti Collection, the work is now housed at the MUDEC in Milan.
