Little jar

Small grey soft-paste porcelain jar with a pale celadon green glaze test. Produced by the Richard-Ginori manufactory (inv. 7649N), the object belongs to a series of experimental pieces, not intended for production, which document the variety and richness of the research conducted within the manufactory on the application of colored glazes. In particular, the use of celadon glaze is of considerable interest in relation to an openness toward non-Western cultures, as it is a technique of clear Chinese origin.
