1. General information about cookies
- 1.1 Definition
  
  Cookies are small text files that are sent to and stored on the computer or mobile device of the user who visits a website, and then retransmitted to the same website on the next visit. Cookies allow the website to remember the user’s behavior and preferences (e.g. login data, preferred language or other display settings), so that they do not have to be specified again on subsequent visits or when navigating between pages.
