Letter from Maccari to Zevi

Letter from Eugenio Maccari, President of the Province of Turin, to archaeologist Fausto Zevi, requesting his participation in the honorary committee of the exhibition La terra tra i due fiumi. La Mesopotamia dei tesori. Venti anni di archeologia nel vicino e medio oriente, held at the Promotrice in Turin and organized by the Centro Ricerche Archeologiche e Scavi per il Medio Oriente e l’Asia. The letter was sent together with an information dossier containing descriptive materials on the exhibition, which was still in the planning phase at the time. The document is preserved in the archives of the MUCIV in Rome, file 9M – Exhibition La terra tra i due fiumi.
