Biografia
Ciro Drago was an Italian archaeologist and public official. He served as director of the Taranto Archaeological Museum and later as Superintendent of Antiquities in Puglia, and he was also an active antifascist. After the fall of Fascism, he was appointed Mayor of Taranto in 1944, a position he held until the 1946 elections. He also served as Superintendent of Antiquities of Rome, working at the National Prehistoric and Ethnographic Museum “L. Pigorini.”
