Contenitore cerimoniale per cereali a forma di cavallo

The photograph depicts a ceremonial wooden container for grain in the shape of a horse. Ceremonial figures are carved on the surface of the object, including groups of four high priests carved on the sides, while a lizard-like animal is carved in the centre. The object dates back to the 19th century and belongs to the Dogon tribe.
