Round soft-paste porcelain ashtray with celadon glaze [inv. 3250]. Richard-Ginori Ceramic Society, 1930 (decoration and form). At the center is an incised meander motif. In this case, the reference to non-Western cultures does not concern the form or the decoration, but rather the material of the object. The piece belongs to a series of objects made of porcelain and coated with celadon glaze, clearly inspired by Chinese tradition.
