Ornamenti in oro e figure Chibcha

The photograph depicts a group of five ornamental objects, including three pre-Columbian gold jewels and two anthropomorphic Chibcha votive figures. Among the jewels are a crocodile, a pendant in the shape of an anthropomorphic creature with a llama head, and a gold wire hair ornament with geometric ends. The Chibcha figures, both made of cast gold foil, represent a man sitting on a three-legged stool holding a stick and a plate in his hands, while the second is the figure of a king wearing a crescent-shaped headdress and holding a dagger in his right hand; four birds are perched on the edge of his stool. All the objects are dated between 1000 and 1500 AD, as indicated on the back of the image, and come from both the Bogota plateau basin (Colombia) and Veraguas (Panama).
