Soft-paste porcelain vase with celadon glaze [inv. 3240]. Richard-Ginori Ceramics Company, 1930 (decoration and form). The decoration depicts ephebe figures at work and at rest, in relief. In this case, the reference to non-Western cultures does not concern the form or decoration, but rather the material of the object. The vase is part of a series of porcelain objects coated with celadon glaze, clearly inspired by Chinese models.
