Ceramica Nazca

The photograph depicts a Nazca pottery vase worked in bas-relief and decorated in polychrome. On the back of the picture is the following description of the work: “two hunters wearing elaborate cross-hats, ponchos with rectangular breastplates are depicted with clubs in one hand and bolas in pursuit of pumas flanking them on the sides; in the field small representations of birds in flight; around the neck a border with small animals standing and head against tail”. The object is dated to 400-500 AD.
