Descrizione
The photograph shows a terracotta from the archaeological site of Chupicuaro and depicts a seated figure characterized by a hairstyle with a 'pastiglia' decoration. The work can be dated to approximately 200 BC, the most ancient period of the Chupicuaro civilization, and is colored green and blue.
The photograph is part of the iconographic apparatus of the volume National Museum of Anthropology of Mexico City (1979, p. 38) part of the series Museums of the World published by Mondadori. The texts of the volume were written by Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti and Licia Collobi.
