Storia e descrizione
The museum was established in 1966 by the President of Senegal, Léopold Sédar Senghor, on the occasion of the Premier Festival Mondial des Arts Nègres. It served as a cultural space until 1988, when it was transformed into the Palace of Justice of Dakar.
