New York, Museum of American Indian. Vessels of this type are highly appreciated by collectors and find their place in the finest public and private collections. The solution of presenting the head and lower limbs of the animal in full round and limiting the polychrome decoration to well-defined areas are characteristics of numerous Costa Rican terracottas.”
