Stephen Cox, Mago, 1993, marble. Gori Collection – Fattoria di Celle, Santomato (Pistoia).
Permanent installation located on the north-west façade of the Fattoria di Celle. The work represents a life portrait broken down into five parts, each consisting of an oval element in colored marble. The piece evokes, on the one hand, the traditional practice of decorating building façades with coats of arms and emblems; on the other, it recalls certain Eastern cultural traditions that attribute cosmological meanings to shapes and colors.
